Atrium House on Frome
Atrium House is a finely detailed composition of materials and finishes that create an owner’s sanctuary beyond its doorstep. The compact site presented several challenges, include demolishing the original duplex attached to the neighboring structure.
The removal of the existing home uncovered the original fireplace, inspiring its thoughtful integration as a central feature within the new alfresco space. This retained element adds character and a sense of history, creating a unique connection between the past and the contemporary design
Our design response created a generously proportioned 4 bedroom home for the family to enjoy. The planning concept included an internal courtyard open space to maximise natural light into all living rooms. The courtyard features a swimming pool as a central feature within the body of the home. Spaces are planned to flow seamlessly around the central courtyard with the pool as a focal point.
