This project reshapes the arrival sequence of an existing home through a refined upper-level addition and carefully terraced landscape. A linear brick pavilion sits above a recessed garage, with vertically proportioned windows creating rhythm, privacy and strong façade order. A restrained palette of pale masonry, dark metal roofing and bronze-framed glazing provides a contemporary yet timeless character that complements the original dwelling.

A deep colonnade of pale brick piers supports a low, continuous roof line, creating a strong horizontal emphasis and a sheltered terrace suitable for dining and lounging. Large black-framed sliding glass doors open the interior directly onto the paved terrace, reinforcing indoor–outdoor connection.

The material palette is restrained and refined: light-toned masonry, stone paving, and dark metal roof and window frames. Hanging lantern-style pendants add a subtle decorative layer and define the outdoor dining zone beneath the roof.

A custom marble double vanity with integrated joinery and brass detailing anchors this refined bathroom. Full-height mirrored cabinetry enhances light and depth, while fluted glass doors framed in brass provide privacy with softness. Herringbone stone flooring adds subtle texture, balancing classic detailing with contemporary finishes.
